OBJECTIVES

Evaluate the mesenteric arterial circulation for clinically significant chronic ischemia.
Perform a standard protocol to document hemodynamic changes associated with portal hypertension.
Evaluate the hepatic veins and inferior vena cava.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Sonographers, physicians and other medical professionals involved with performing and/or interpreting vascular ultrasound examinations. Physician participants may include vascular/general surgery, radiologists, internal medicine, and GI specialists.
