OBJECTIVES
- Identify common pathology for mitral valve disease.
- Recognize cardiology pathology and correlate the two dimensional and Doppler echocardiography findings associated with various types of mitral valve disease.
- Perform routine Doppler measurements and apply the Doppler criteria for grading mitral valve stenosis and insufficiency.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Sonographers, physicians, nurse practitioners, PA’s or other professionals involved with performing adult echocardiography. Physician participants may include (but is not limited to) : Cardiologists, anethesiologists, Intensivists, Critical Care, primary care, internal medicine, hospitalists, radiologists.
